The attached post by Chris Brogan offers some great points about target marketing that can benefit marketers of construction and real estate services. 

Target marketing narrows the focus.  It allows companies to concentrate on building lasting relationships with a group sharing similar issues.  It is impossible for most companies to be experts to everyone and narrowing the market makes much more sense for most construction and real estate companies than marketing to the masses.
